After graduating from high school and university, he worked as a conductor at the opera before becoming general music director. Since 2005, his focus has been on conducting the orchestra “die taschenphilharmonie” and composing.
His experience on the subject of “leadership” is based on his profession as a conductor and his training as a communications trainer. In his talks, he imparts his exciting knowledge with enthusiasm, humor and depth.

Who is PETER STANGEL
Peter Stangel is a versatile artist who works as a conductor, composer, author, leadership trainer and speaker. He received violin and piano lessons at a young age and began writing his own compositions at the age of 12. After graduating from high school and studying music, he worked as a conductor at various European opera houses before being appointed General Music Director of the renowned “Max Bruch Orchestra”. Since 2005, his main focus has been on his compositional work and conducting the ensemble “die taschenphilharmonie” in Munich.
Peter Stangel was nominated as “Best Conductor” in the magazine “Opernwelt” and received the City of Munich Sponsorship Award in 2007. In 2011, his children’s classical music edition “Große Klassik für kleine Hörer” won the Leopold Media Prize and he received the sponsorship award of the International Lake Constance Conference for Music Education. He has currently launched a Germany-wide project for children and classical music, which is under the patronage of Minister Ursula von der Leyen.
Peter Stangel has extensive experience in the field of “leadership”, both from his work as a conductor, where he regularly stands in front of large and small orchestras, and from his training as a communications trainer. As a trainer, he has trained and coached managers for many years and is able to convey his ideas and concerns with enthusiasm and entertainment value.
