COMMUNICATION & WORK-JOY-BALANCE

Katrin Hansmeier is a speaker and qualified actress.
With ease and charm, she minimizes pressure, tension, stress and false expectations in companies and maximizes enjoyment.
Because only when people enjoy doing things together does productivity, satisfaction – and more sales – arise!

Katrin is the author of the book “Humor. The manifesto for delayed repartee.” In her scientific work, she investigated the power of humor as a coping and survival strategy. Today, she imparts this knowledge in a practical way to companies, teams and managers.

As a communication trainer, supervisor and management consultant, she has been supporting organizations for many years with her distinctive tools: scientifically sound, implemented with ease and can be integrated directly into the participants’ everyday work.

If you’re thinking: “…I know that woman, don’t I?” – then perhaps she’s been in your living room before:
She has appeared in numerous theater, cinema and TV productions, including the team of detectives from the Berlin crime scene.

Her keynotes combine stage presence, humor and psychological knowledge to create a lively experience with depth. Whether it’s an executive conference, kick-off, change process or anniversary event – Katrin Hansmeier inspires with humor, attitude and authenticity.

“Our world is changing rapidly. Skills such as “improvising” and “enduring contradictions” have become important core competencies. The basic attitude helps us here: “Hooray for a problem! Let’s see what I can do with it!” Such an attitude makes us more productive, faster and more innovative – and it can be learned” (Katrin Hansmeier)

Who is KATRIN HANSMEIER

Katrin Hansmeier – Keynote Speaker, Actress, Moderator & Author

I have been working as an actress, speaker and presenter on large and small stages and in front of the camera for over 20 years.
My joy in my profession and my vocation grows with each passing day. It has carried me through crises, changes and new beginnings and taught me how important lightness, humor and attitude are in a complex world.

Humor in business – joy as a success factor

Even during my drama studies, I was fascinated by when and why people laugh and how humor helps us to overcome difficult situations.
It’s not for nothing that there is a jester in every Shakespeare play, no matter how dramatic: laughter creates distance, relaxation and new perspectives.
This insight still accompanies me today, whether on stage, in the company or in coaching.

Humor in business does not mean constantly cracking jokes, but rather the ability to resolve tensions in a targeted manner, open up communication and act together. Joy keeps you healthy, empowers you to act and inspires teams and leaders alike.

I wrote my thesis on humor as a means of mental survival in 2006. At the time, I had no idea that I would later dedicate myself full-time to joy and humor in communication.
Many comedy masterclasses, gag writing workshops and my own research later, I developed trainings, keynotes and formats for companies that make joy and psychological safety tangible as key competencies.

My message: Joy is not a luxury, it is a principle of success.

My guiding principle: “Hurray, a problem! Let’s see what we can do with it!” This basic attitude makes people and teams more productive, faster and more innovative, especially when they live this attitude together.
This is exactly why I developed the ENJOY WORK program:
I show how joy, humour and collaboration can be reconnected in companies: For more motivation, good communication and successful change.

JOY SELLS!

Joy Sells! How to win people over with ease.

Joy magically attracts people. We breathe a sigh of relief and are in a better mood. And even difficult topics become easier.

After this presentation, you will know how to manage your mood, relax tensions and increase attention and thus positively control communication.

Experience how easy it can be: Even unfair attacks will no longer tempt you to engage in conflict ping-pong, but motivate you to return the charm.
Is it all just culture? Certainly not: a good work-joy balance boosts your ROI, has a positive effect on sickness rates, skills shortages and motivation – and therefore on your turnover.

Joy is not a “nice to have” but a strategic success factor for companies.

Because those who lead with joy increase productivity, team spirit and satisfaction – and create a corporate culture that inspires and connects.
In this presentation, Katrin Hansmeier reveals how you can use business humor to put a smile on the faces of your customers, partners and investors and win them over.

TOGETHER INSTEAD OF SHIT TOGETHER

TOGETHER INSTEAD OF SHARING – Creating value through appreciation

Anger, frustration and loss of energy? Or rather joy, productivity and flow? How do we manage to regain our speech when we are at a loss for words? To keep breathing when we catch our breath? To act together instead of pigeonholing each other?

In this humorous and profound keynote speech on communication and appreciation in companies, Katrin Hansmeier shows how real encounters can succeed even when nerves are on edge.

This interactive lecture combines communication techniques, body language and humor into an instructive and entertaining whole. The result is a high level of professionalism, more time for the important things, lots of fun in achieving common goals and numbers.
In short: appreciation leads to added value.

TATORT TEAM!

TATORT TEAM! It’s better to think around corners than to turn them

A TV actress spills the beans: Behind the scenes of Tatort & Co. What can companies learn from film sets?
Katrin Hansmeier, known from Berlin’s “Tatort” among others, takes you behind the scenes of filming locations where teamwork, improvisation and communication at the highest level are required on a daily basis.

From the initial idea to the TV premiere, she shows how successful teams are created, not through perfection, but through creativity in dealing with imperfection.
A lot of unplanned things happen on set: technology goes on strike, time is of the essence, emotions run high and yet the result has to be right.

Katrin Hansmeier takes a look behind the scenes: Funny anecdotes, mishaps that turned into successes and how bad moods are transformed on set – all spontaneous, agile and appreciative. The “outtakes” on set and in our everyday lives are often the best. On set, a flexible and productive attitude means working successfully with to deal with disruptions and changes to plans. This “structured” improvisation is a strategy that can also be can be applied in companies. It ensures that we arrive at our destination in a better mood, able to act and innovate.

Learn concrete techniques to use disruptions and conflicts productively, use body language consciously and lead teams to greater ease and creativity. “The Making of Productive Cooperation” – live, humorous and inspiring.

HOORAY, A PROBLEM!

HOORAY, A PROBLEM! – Mastering everyday management with joy

Humor makes you attractive – as a person, as a manager and as a company.
In her inspiring keynote speech on humor and leadership, Katrin Hansmeier shows you how to master everyday leadership with ease and charm, even in challenging situations. And you will experience how easy it can be!

After this presentation, you will know how to use humor to manage mood, defuse tensions and increase attention.
You will experience how humor facilitates change processes, relaxes difficult conversations and motivates teams.

It is important to be able to distinguish between effective/appreciative and hurtful humor.

True to the motto “Hooray, a problem!”, Katrin Hansmeier clears up the usual bad mood traps and sources of danger in communication. Even unfair attacks will no longer throw you off track. Because you can now turn them into something appreciative and make the other person smile. This will help you reach your goal faster and in a good mood! Benevolent humor in the corporate culture has a positive effect on sickness rates, skills shortages and employee motivation.

“Humor is leadership quality and the most elegant form of sovereignty.”
(Katrin Hansmeier, keynote speaker & actress)

JOY AS A FUTURE COMPETENCE

Joy as a future competence – shaping the future with humor, attitude and ease

Joy has long been a megatrend:
It successfully shapes brands, improves communication within the team and increases motivation, creativity and productivity.

In times of permanent stress, crises and constant change processes, it is clear:
Without joy, we will not master the future.

Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe uses humorous brand communication to show how to inspire customers and specialists.
Berliner Stadtreinigung has been using appreciative humor for over twenty years and has thus massively strengthened employee identification and inspired customers.

Katrin Hansmeier, a native Berliner, has supported these and other companies in their cultural change and interviewed them about their success.

Her conclusion: Joy is more than just a feeling.

It is a leadership competence, innovative strength and survival strategy.
Companies that integrate humor and lightness into their culture create trust, closeness and stability. Exactly what is needed in uncertain times.

Joy is therefore not a “soft skill”, but a strategy for the future.

DEEP DIVE presentation

In times of constant stress, multiple crises and constant change, it is clear that we must not lose joy and lightness, because they are more than just a feeling. They contribute to leadership skills, innovative strength and brand success.

Companies that consciously integrate humor into their culture create trust, closeness and a strong sense of togetherness – exactly what is needed in uncertain times.

So make provisions today so that you are further ahead tomorrow: with attitude, humor and ease.

DEEP DIVE with Katrin Hansmeier means transfer into everyday life, deepening the techniques and valuable exchange among each other – whether in presence or online, in any group size, on the same day or spread over the year.

Current Lunch & Learn sessions with Katrin Hansmeier

Lunch & Learn: Change-Joy-Balance – Crisis-proof and connected in wild times.

What is a reverse keynote? In this session, we’ll be presenting you with something completely new on the speaker market:

A reverse keynote is a type of presentation in which the audience has control over the content. First, there is a short impulse on a topic that moves us all: “How we can become crisis-proof and connected in wild times.” In the meantime, we collect together everything that concerns you about the impulses and Katrin and Carl – in this case digitally, of course. (This also works on the real stage!) From then on, you’re in charge. Katrin and Carl will tailor their content directly to your questions and wishes. Why does this work? Because both are absolute experts in their topics and flexibility is part of their self-image.

Tough but flair! Pigeonhole thinking: Imagine you leave them open.

We are all under pressure at the moment – you can feel it every day. That’s why we’re holding a Lunch & Learn on the topic: “Together instead of shit together!” By letting go of pigeonholes and approaching each other mindfully, new spaces open up. We are in favor of radically abandoning old beliefs.

Hooray – a problem! Smiles instead of frowns. Punchline meets magic.

The end-of-year spurt at work needs to be completed. Christmas is just around the corner. The family soon too. At this Lunch & Learn, we will serve you humorous snacks for the Christmas menu and show you how little things can bring serenity to tense situations.

Keep Calm. Stay Focused. With emotional agility to more serenity.

Is that me, or is that my emotion? Vivienne Dübbert and Katrin Hansmeier want to consciously ask themselves this question at this Lunch & Learn. Because only when you are clear about this do you have the chance to get out of the spiral of thoughts and into the self-responsibility that you need to use strong emotions to your own advantage. After all, emotional agility is essential, especially in times of crisis. An important tool for achieving this is your own sense of humor – but how do you do that in times like these? Not losing your lightness is a valuable asset and in this Lunch & Learn you will learn how to do this and how you can use your resources in a targeted manner.
