Keynote speaker for resilience

Resilience means that we can deal well with difficult situations and quickly regain our strength when something bad happens.

The term comes from psychology and originally describes the “ability of materials to return after deformation”.

Like the bamboo that can be pushed to the ground undamaged under the heavy weight of the snow, but gets up again as soon as the snow has disappeared and returns to its old shape…

Today, the term also refers to people.

In our society and economy, strengthening our own resilience is hugely important because it helps us to cope better with challenges and stay strong in stressful times.
